The Importance Of Storytelling

I can’t say it enough!

In 2019 the one thing that is not going out of style, that’s not a fad, is stories.

Stories sell… period.

We are living in an age were entertainment, movies, plays, even books that have been around for hundreds of years are still selling and still doing very well.

This is why your business needs to share it’s story.

Storytelling is an incredible tool and a skill that every business should try to master.

Just think about this.. we have been telling stories for as long as we’ve been humans – and made it into an absolutely essential part of our day-to-day communications.

When done well, storytelling can do wonders for a business: such as turn a brand into a power house, complement your marketing strategy, generate profit and gain trust and affection with your audience.

When your Storytelling conveys purpose, then your business will ultimately be the one that stands out and capture consumer’s hearts and wallets.

Don’t be afraid to come from your heart, be authentic and tell your story!

I get it.. it’s hard to be vulnerable it’s hard to step in front of the camera. But some of my clients best results come from just simply telling their story to their audience. Basically what it comes down to is trust. If you can carve our your tribe online then sales won’t be a problem as long as your building trust and providing value.

Turn your personal Facebook page into a lead magnet machine. If you have a personal and a business page post on both. You would be blown away by the amount of sales and conversations you can start by just posting on your personal page. Yes you can still post your dog pictures and pictures of your family outings but DON’T be afraid to post about your business and be personable.

We are living in a time where technology is rising at such a fast rate that it’s hard to comprehend what’s coming out next. But because of this people are literally feigning for human to human interaction. People want to see who they are doing business with, they want to see the business owner behind the business.

Don’t be afraid.. Life is to short. If you want to gather more business in 2019, step in front of the camera, start telling your story, start talking to your audience and sales will come. I promise.

As Always

This is so very true Log. I’ve used storytelling a lot in my career. I’ve used it with patients and with staff and I can attest to the trust building that it creates. I have lived in a service industry, but whether you’re selling a service or a product the premise is the same. I have also used story telling in my faith. I’ve had 2 huge miracles happen in my life and I share that as often as I can. If you have trust for the people behind your service or product they will keep coming back for more. Loved this blog!
